摘要：AbstractFrom the advent of industrial revolution, the wheels of development have never slowed down in terms of technology. As number of machines increased, the need of operators or handlers of those machines too increased. As the number of machines, a need of automatic control raised. This necessity led us to the field on Control engineering. Industries were early to understand the importance of this discipline so foundation was set for this branch of engineering. In this paper, we have analyzed the educational status of India at different levels of engineering education in accordance with Control engineering. The paper gives an idea of current industry needs, availability of literature, tools and labs on the subject & other content available online on the subject. The purpose of this paper is to also indicate the direction in which the field is led in India as a result of current developments.
