摘要:AbstractIn this study it was aimed to develop a Turkish Parental Involvement scale for the first stage of primary schools. For this reason, both national and international literature was examined, which was coupled with the views of school shareholders. Resulting trial scale was subjected to statistical validity and reliability analyses in a pilot study with 618 parents. Based on the findings from the study, acceptable levels of reliability and validity proofs were obtained. Thus, it was concluded that Turkish Parental Involvement Scale (TPIS) is a reliable and valid, which can be used to define the roles and levels of parental involvement at primary school.
