标题:SWIMMY: A virtual neurophysiology exercise examining central pattern generators involved in locomotion (Virtual neurophysiological research on a virtual animal)
摘要:AbstractTo provide students a realistic neuroscience research experience requiring only computers and no laboratory equipment, we have used the public domain neural simulator NEURON to create a program called SWIMMY. This program simulates neural mechanisms underlying fish swimming motions and allows students to do realistic neurophysiological experiments to discover how SWIMMY's neural circuitry works.
