标题:The influence of the perceptions of department heads on the integration of sustainable content in computer and telecommunication engineering schools
摘要:AbstractWhile previous literature has assumed that the general concerns of society should increase the attention paid to sustainability issues in engineering studies, we suggest that specific perceptions of department heads are also important. We used a sample of 37 department heads operating in Computer and Telecommunication Engineering Schools at 25 Spanish universities. A hierarchical regression showed that perceptions of higher interest of the analyzed stakeholders of the departments (students, faculty members, regulators, deans, steering committee, and civil organizations) positively influence the decision to integrate sustainability topics into the department's courses.
