标题:I think I can, I think I can, I think I can…I know I can Multi-user Virtual Environments (MUVEs) as a means of developing competence and confidence in undergraduate nursing students An Australian perspective
摘要:AbstractThe consideration of emerging technologies for use in higher education is critical. The implications for the enhancement of scenario-based learning for students in areas such as nursing where active learning is necessary, but often unwieldy, makes a compelling argument for the incorporation of virtual technologies such as Second Life. Building upon studies that have established that simulation based learning can lead to improved levels of student confidence and competence for real-world clinical practice, this study illuminates the development of a virtual clinical simulation for undergraduate nursing students and the subsequent opportunities available to students within a Multi-user Virtual Environment (MUVE).
