摘要:In the last decade, treatment studies based on constraint induced language therapy (CILT) have demonstrated
positive outcomes for expressive oral speech production as well as other language modalities for persons with
chronic aphasia (Raymer et al., 2008). The applicability and impact of CILT lor early aphasia rehabilitation has
been the locus of our research and preliminary case study results have been reported (Kimess & Maher, in press).
This study aims to further explore the impact ofCILT in the frst months of rehabilitation and addresses long term
outcomes for the frst year post-stroke in a small group study.
