摘要:One of the significant topics that should be considered in the teacher education program is the children rights issue, so it is important to determine prospective teachers’ knowledge needs about children rights. Main purpose of this study was to determine the knowledge level of prospective teachers about children rights issue in addition to presenting their knowledge needs about the same issue. This study was a descriptive study. Sample was composed of 150 prospective teachers in Turkish Language and Classroom Teaching Departments. Results indicate that participants believed in the importance of knowing children rights and besides prospective teachers wanted to learn more about the rights during their university education.
