摘要:The purpose of the present research was to investigate psychometric characteristics of the questionnaire on S.M.S usage types, which deals with the motivation, content and frequency of S.M.S communications carried out by Iranian teenagers. sample includes 585 teenagers, between 15 to 19 years that have been chosen via disposal sampling method a sample of 585 teenagers, between 15 to 19 years of age. Data was analyzed by using factorial analysis, kronbach alpha coefficient and the analysis of internal conformity. It was shown through factorial analysis that the first part of the questionnaire contain 4 factors. These are: eeconomical motivation, common motivation, sending information for assurance and avoid of face-to-face relationship. The second part of the questionnaire contains 3 factors which include uncommon content, gibe content and impersonal information content.according to the kronbach alpha, both parts give a validity of 0.58 to 0.85 to the questionnaire as well as an internal conformity of 0.73 to 0.83.
