  • 摘要:The aim of this study is to identify 10th grade students’ misconceptions related to electric current. For this purpose, an instrument composed of three-phase ten-items multiple choice electric current concept test (ECCT) was developed by the researchers. This test was administered to ninety-six 10th grade students who were 15-16 years of age. The findings showed that 10th grade students’ understanding of electric current is poor and also they have important and prevalent misconceptions. The results have some implications for teaching electric current, suggesting that a substantial revision of teaching strategies is needed.
