摘要:AbstractThe purpose of our study is to explore children's experiences of the diagnostic procedure, their views and their attitudes regarding the reasons why they have been referred. We carried out 47 clinical interviews of children 6 to 12 years old, who came to the diagnostic centre for evaluation and were diagnosed with a variety of difficulties. Findings suggest the majority of children justify their referral so as to get some support for their learning difficulties.
