摘要:Bilingual aphasia, which is a loss of one or both languages in bilingual individuals resulting from left hemisphere damage, is of increasing interest worldwide because half the worlds population is bilingual. There are few studies of treatment methods for patients with bilingual aphasia and most of these are single case studies and/or not well experimentally controlled. The study we will present tested an adaptation of the Complexity Account of Treatment Efficacy (Kiran, 2007; Thompson & Shapiro, 2007) that targeting treatment in the patient^, weaker language pre-stroke will enhance generalization to their stronger language pre-stroke.
