摘要:Right brain damage (RBD) can lead to communication impairments that may affect discursive, lexico-semantic,pragmatic, and/or prosodic abilities. The existence of specific and distinctive profiles of communication impairment, as it is the case for individuals with aphasia following a left-hemisphere stroke, has been explored in recent years. However, the possible relationship between impaired communication and executive functions is still a matter of debate: are communication impairments due to primary executive deficits or can dissociations be observed? This study aims at describing executive processes as a function of the communicational profile in individuals with RBD.
