摘要:Recently published criteria for diagnosis of primary progressive aphasia and its classification into 3 main variants state that 1 of 2 core features must be present to make a clinical diagnosis of the nonfluent variant (NFPA) (Gomo-Tempini, et al., in press). These features are 1) agrammatism in language production and 2) apraxia of speech. We report 5 participants with a clinical diagnosis of NFPA based on previous criteria (Neary, et al., 1998), 3 of whom had neither of the core features from the more recent criteria.
