摘要：AbstractThe objective of the study is to assess the relationship between income and water pollution in Malaysia by using the environmental Kuznets curve. Water pollution indicators were assessed on a number of measures: Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD), Cadmium (CD) and Arsenic (AS). The income level per capita that is real GDP (Gross Domestic Product) per capita was measured from the year 1996 to 2006 quarterly. The model has been used to include and refinement of some of the variables and addition of some new variables. It formulates a four-equation simultaneous model for empirical research.
