标题：Preparing for High Fuel Cost and Environmental Restrictions with a 200 TEU Container Vessel Using Wind and Solar Energy Saving Over 50% with a New Operation Model
摘要：AbstractCompetitive and sustainable container vessels are able to serve cargo for additional 560 small EU ports with surrounding cities, shortening road-traffic and prepare for the time of rising fuel prices and costly environmental restrictions. The project developed a new catamaran vessel of 200 TEU with on-board crane as part of a moving superstructure and a novel energy and propulsion concept. The current and known future environmental rules are fully observed.
