摘要：AbstractThe 7FP-Project “EU-Cargoxpress” developed a concept of an innovative, sustainable catamaran cargo-vessel with an on-board-crane able to serve small coastal and fluvial ports without proper Ship-to-Shore (STS) cranes.The crane as part of a covering multifunctional “sail-wing” is hinged in a moving and revolving Superstructure, covers the whole vessel length and cantilevers over the perimeter of the vessel.The goal is to accelerate the movement of container and general cargo from the vessel to the port and making maritime transport more competitive.
