摘要：AbstractThe objective of CityMobil project is to contribute to a more effective organisation of urban transport, resulting in a more rational use of motorised traffic with less congestion and pollution, safer driving, higher quality of living and an enhanced integration with spatial development. In order to achieve these objectives advanced concepts for advanced road vehicles and passengers are developed. Furthermore new tools for managing the urban transport are introduced and barriers in the way of large-scale introduction of automated systems are removed.The objective of Castellón is to implement a High-Tech Bus transport system connecting several cities (such as Benicàssim on the seaside) with Castellón, including the university and the city centre.In this paper a description of the Castellón demonstrator and the Castellón test site is given. The implemented system is descried. The performance and the user acceptance of the system have been analyzed within the CityMobil project. These evaluation results of the High-Tech Bus system are provided within the paper and reveal that the implementation of the system has been a success and that users have a high level of acceptance of the system.
