摘要:AbstractThis paper focuses on the person with disabilities (PWD)’s perspective of accessibility issues in built environment. The multiple-case study aims to evaluate the accessibility of several public buildings in Putrajaya based on PWDs’ level of satisfaction and perception through access audit. Four participants (visually-impaired person, hearing-impaired person, wheelchair user, and crutches user) were interviewed regarding their satisfaction and perception on the buildings’ facilities and overall accessibility during the access audit. Findings show that PWDs’ satisfaction varies based on their impairments; therefore, buildings need to provide a more inclusive environment that cater the needs of a broader range of users especially PWDs.
