摘要:AbstractThis paper aims at analyzing the impact of globalization on higher education accountability, by bringing to light both the main changes in the forces that frame the “Accountability Triangle” (Clark, 1983), and the need to differentiate accountability for colleges and universities in diverse national and institutional contexts. To that end, grounding our analysis on the international literature about governance and accountability of higher education institutions, we will compare the cases of Boston University and Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna.
