摘要：AbstractGlobalization and internationalization of the world economy have given rise to new forms and methods of education. In particular, the importance of competition in the sphere of innovation activity is growing. In its turn, sustainable economic and cultural development is impossible without restructuring the national system of education. All this requires modernization of the national education system. The aim of the paper is to present the institutional preconditions of globalization in education and knowledge economy development in Russia and other countries.
