摘要:Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), also known as Motor Neuron Disease (MND), is a neurodegenerativedisorder characterized by the progressive degeneration of the upper and lower motor neurons, leading to aprogressive and fatal paralysis. In the last ten years, patients with MND have been described with a selectiveimpairment in processing verbs with action content. The presence of this deficit has been interpreted as evidence thatverb processing depends on damage to the motor system.
