摘要：Very limited research has been done on aphasia in the Tagalog-speaking population. Diagnosis of aphasia in thePhilippines is generally conducted by clinicians based on clinical observations of language symptoms, lesion sites,and an unpublished translation of the Western Aphasia Battery (WAB; Kertesz, 1982). The WAB has been widelyresearched and validated for use with assessing the severity and type of aphasia through score profiles. This batteryprovides clinicians with a comprehensive evaluation of language skills in English and is projected to do the same inTagalog.
