摘要:AbstractThis paper intends to present the results of a small scale study on the implementation of drama workshop among second language learners. The objectives of the study are i) to investigate whether drama activities are able to integrate all the four skills among second language learners and ii) to examine to what extent could drama activities motivate the students to u se the target language actively. The participants were 25 undergraduate engineering students and 16 TESL students cum facilitators. Based on observations and reflective writing from the facilitators, data were qualitatively and descriptively analyzed. Results of the study suggest that drama activities are able to integrate the four language skills among the students as well as motivate them to actively use the target language among themselves. The study concludes that as a teaching technique, drama activities could be useful and fun for second language learners in giving them the opportunity to practice the target language actively to enhance the four skills.
