摘要:AbstractThis study is conducted purposely for investigating the parenting style influence on the Malaysian primary student's learning at school and the development of the personality at the two different types of school, the army type and the general type of school. The result shows that the parenting style has a significant association with the student's achievement (r=0.116; p=0.00). Interestingly, the result also indicates that the non-army type of job of father have tendencies to practice permissive parenting style whereas the army type of job prefers to practice an authoritarian parenting style.
