  • 摘要:AbstractThe pressure youth applicants to public universities feel during the admission process is overwhelming. A course was designed that helps students to prepare explicitly for college entrance examinations and provide support with motivational speeches for combating test anxiety. Questionnaires were answered by the students about the test preparation activities and their perceived feeling of anxiety. Results are particularly informative in light of the stress that students experience during the admission process. The findings suggest that there is a difference in anxiety amount girls and boys that can affect test results. In general, seems to be that girls take school more seriously, are more persistent, and more worrisome than boys. Forty two percent of the students enrolled in this course were admitted to our institution, while the average acceptance rate is about thirty one percent, this increase can be attributed to the technical and emotional support they received during training for admission.
