摘要:AbstractThe paper investigated the relationship among 153 tertiary level EFL students’ Big Five personality traits, online learning motivation and online learning satisfaction in a digital English learning environment. Participants completed questionnaires regarding the Big Five personality traits, online learning motivation and satisfaction. Results revealed that personality traits were correlated with online satisfaction, and that extraversion and conscientiousness were the two important traits among the Big Five in predicting motivation and satisfaction. Also, motivation was a strong predictor of satisfaction. Five constructs of motivation, including escape, social contact, desire to learn, self-development and academic progress, were significantly related to satisfaction.
