摘要:AbstractSustainable waste management (SWM) requires the participation of everyone. NGOs initiate various sustainable waste management activities in support of the environment. While reports on NGOs contributions to the society and the environment are extensive, their contribution from a social learning perspective is sparse. This paper fills this gap by exploring and evaluating qualitative data obtained from two case studies and framing the evidence through five strands of themes integral to facilitate social learning. The study found that amidst successful implementation of activities, the NGOs in the case study faced several constraints in facilitating social learning towards sustainable waste management.
