摘要：AbstractThis article analyzes the sense of time in students of music colleges of different ages. The method of reproduction of time intervals (2, 3, 5 s) was used. The group of adult subjects consisted of 32 individuals (mean age 20 years). Group of children (17 people) tested twice with an interval of 4 years. The sense of time estimated by the following indicators - relative error (ɛ), standard deviation of error σ(ɛ) and integral inaccuracy (V) of reproduction the intervals.There is a significant correlation between expert's assessment the sense of rhythm of children and individual parameters Vav и ɛav, of reproduction empty intervals, i.e. the accuracy of reproduction time intervals has positive correlation with the sense of rhythm of children. Since the sense of rhythm is an essential component of musical talent, the parameter “an average accuracy of reproduction empty intervals” can be included in a complex criteria of musical gifted. There are not any differences between average scores Vav и ɛav, also σ(V) and σ(ɛ) in group of children after 4 years of education and adult musicians. It indicates the parameters of reproduction empty time intervals (2-5 s) stabilizes by the age of 12 and won’t change in future significantly.
