  • 摘要:AbstractBuddha's teaching is based on sufferings and teach people the way to end them. It is all about the range of sufferings, the causes of sufferings and eliminating the causes of sufferings. By the end of sufferings, they will achieve their ultimate goal; nirvana. The path leading to it is the four noble paths and the noble eightfold paths. The Right View is one of the Noble Eightfold paths. It simply means to see and to understand things as they really are.This presentation will highlight the concept of right view according to the buddha's teaching and the Islamic perspective towards the concept. The comparison is made by focusing with the concept of intention (niat) in the Islamic teaching. The part on similarities and differences will be highlighted. This paper will benefit people who are interested in multiculturism studies, comparative religion and civilisation dialogue.
