  • 摘要:AbstractAlong with Chinese economic and political developments, museum in China also needs to facilitate encounters between ideas, environments and objects, so as to fulfill its fundamental role of education, for school students and also for the adults. In this article, I introduce and discuss contemporary issues and practice made in the museum education in China, such as education program and activities for student group, various cultural workshop and demonstrations for a more complete learning experience. The challenges and the changes from the old paradigm of “telling” to “engaging” with cultural, historical and scientific concepts will specifically be addressed in respect of the educational role of the Capital Museum, China.
