摘要:AbstractThe current study investigates what happens with participants’ attitudes toward their romantic relation when they are successively asked to list the motives for which they are involved in that relation and to discuss them. Participants (N= 24), involved in a relation for more than two years, took part in a three Session experiment in which they had to rate their satisfaction with the relation. The results show that repeated introspection on the romantic relation generates attitudinal change. The article draws the attention to the use of introspection in working with functional and dysfunctional couples.
