  • 摘要:AbstractThis paper discusses a collaborative initiative between a module leader and library staff at Sheffield Hallam University to address students’ poor information literacy skills, with particular emphasis on web searching. It includes an analysis of the findings of a survey of students’ information literacy skills and information seeking habits at the start and end of the module. The development, implementation and impact of active and reflective learning techniques embedded within an international business module are discussed, and the authors conclude that this type of collaborative initiative supports effective student learning and skills development.
