摘要:Whereas healthy speakers plan ahead beyond the first word (Levelt, 1989; Schnur, 2011), someaphasic speakers with phonological/phonetic impairment might have a limited span of phonologicalplanning. This is suggested by two clinical observations. First, patients produce few between-wordphonological errors (Kohn & Smith, 1990), while anticipatory contextual errors produced by healthyspeakers indicate phonological planning beyond the initial word. Second, the omission of liaisonconsonants in French (which requires ahead planning) is recurrent for some aphasic patients andmay also indicate limited ahead planning.
