摘要:The cortical spatial reorganization accompanying recovery from anomia after stroke is intensivelyinvestigated, whereas much less attention has been paid to changes in the temporal course of brainactivity. Previous neuroimaging research using high temporal resolution (event related potentials witEEG or MEG) has shown that aphasic patients display diverging ERP correlates in picture namingtasks in different time-windows according to the underlying impairments (Laganaro et al., 2009;2011; Laganaro et al., in press). These time windows correspond to the estimate of semantic, lexicaland phonological encoding processes in healthy speakers (Indefrey, 2004; 2011). Recovery fromanomia should therefore also be accompanied by ERP changes in specific time-windows,corresponding to the improved word encoding process.
