  • 摘要:The literature on agrammatism has reported crosslinguistically difficulties in comprehending and/orproducing movement-derived structures such as wh-questions and relatives. Among the differentexplanations proposed for the underlying deficit (De Bleser et al., 2012), representational accountsclaim that agrammatics’ (morpho)syntactic representations are impaired, whereas processing-basedaccounts posit that agrammatics’ representations are preserved, and attribute their difficulties to aprocessing limitation, more specifically a slowed down or weakened syntactic processing. Bothaccounts postulate that agrammatics may resort to extralinguistic strategies, such as the agent first, which may cover the syntactic impairment, although the existence of this strategy in agrammaticshas been recently questioned (Meyer et al., 2012). A new challenge for the theories arises inbilingual agrammatism, and very especially in cases of differential impairment, which require anexplanation for the different affection of the two languages, and thus might indicate a languagespecific impairment.
