摘要:In aphasia therapy literature, drawing has predominantly been discussed with reference to itspotential as an alternative, augmentative means for communication in persons with severe languagedeficits - oral and written. Aphasia therapy studies in which drawing is applied as a complementarytask to improve an aphasic's oral and written language production are seldom. Based on data fromlanguage and drawing tasks from two persons with aphasia (PWA), the role of drawing from memoryon verbal language performance and overall communicative abilities was appraised.
