摘要：AbstractThis paper introduces the development of the Motorway of the Sea (MoS) concept, and summarizes the achievement of this concept in China. Then the paper analyses the advantages MoS can bring as well as the problems that it will face in the implementation process in the aspects of management, market and environment. In the end, several suggestions about implementing the MoS concept are given.
