摘要:AbstractWith the increased number of women participating in sport, it is anticipated that women have more opportunities to advance in sport careers such as coaching; however, women are faced with the conflict to keep up with their profession as coaches and their family duties as mothers, wives or singles. Female Division I and super league volleyball and basketball coaches participated in this qualitative, interview- based study through a selective method given that the number of women coaches is limited. Female head coaches exemplified to leave their careers because of the conflicts of work and family spill over.
