摘要:AbstractDespite the growing interest in the analysis of the factors influencing the spatial distribution of FDI, there is still no satisfactory empirical work which can explain the determinants of the spatial distribution of FDI flows into the separate regions of Romania, one of the largest new EU-member states. Thus, this research attempts to fill this gap by using primary data from a questionnaire that covers the entire transition period. In this paper, we intend to explore the factors that influence FDI in the manufacturing sector, focusing on the development regions. We based our estimation on data constructed from firms’ answers regarding the importance of the different factors for the decision to invest in a Romanian region.
