摘要:AbstractThe current requirements imposed on handball players and handball teams are extremely high, particularly concerning the game's technical-tactical content, the need to possess superior physical and psychological training, as success and top performance require maximum efficiency in speed and under the opponents’ pressure, maximum perfection of specialization in the game, in balance with mobility and efficient play in various positions, but also the involvement of all players in collective tactics. The analysis of Europe's best teams confirms the fact that the current trends and orientations in the game of handball requires a more active and efficient presence of wing players in the modern game. This article aims at creating a statistical model of the wing player, based on an analysis of the parameters obtained at the Senior European Championship, Serbia 2012.
