摘要：AbstractThe requests which are imposed to handball players and handball teams at this moment are of the highest ranks, especially to what concerns the technical- tactical content of the game, having a superior physical and psychological training, as success and top performances imply maximum efficiency, in speed and under the opponent's pressure, maximum perfection of specialization in the game, in balance with mobility and efficient play on various positions, but also the involvement of all players in the collective tactics. The analysis of Europe's best teams leads to the confirmation of the fact that the trends and current orientations of the handball game requires a more active and efficient presence of wing players in the modern game. This article aimes to create a statisctical model of the wing player from the statistical point of view, analyzing the values of parameters they obtained at the Senior European Championship, Serbia 2012.
