摘要:AbstractMuscle strength is one of the most important motor qualities, which largely influences the speed of execution of movements and activities that requires strength and skill. Muscle strength is a fundamental property of human performance, which provides important information on effort capacity by assessing the effects of training. In this study we investigated a group of fifteen athletes, swimmers, assessing knee extensor strength. We can see the average value over a time interval of 5seconds of maximal isometric force moments measured in two different angles of knee extensor muscles, 1000and 1200. Measurements were performed using the Isokinetic Kin-Com ® Dynamometer. The research results show an improvement in muscle strength after six weeks of weight training in water.
