摘要：AbstractNowadays, heavily influenced by the emergence of the new capitalism, people are increasingly less concerned with sport, which is very important, both for the harmonious development of the individual and to promote the image of a nation or a region. This paper is intended as a study on the relationship between monetary integration, the economic development of the euro area and sports performances of this region. In short, we wanted to ask if the euro can act as a team and to the sport, as it does in other areas. In doing so we realized an econometric analysis of this area and then we analyzed the performance of its sport. The conclusion is that yes, it can act as a unified team, but it have to take some risks, including those related to the number of participating athletes, dominate and related to existing economic disparities between countries.
