摘要:AbstractMobile and handheld devices are viewed as potentially significant aids to language learning. To explore the extent of acceptance of Mobile Assisted Language Learning (MALL) among graduate students in Malaysia, a questionnaire based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) was administered to 25 ESL Malaysian postgraduates at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). The results show a positive response to MALL as a convenient, practical and easy way of assisting ESL learners in enhancing their ESL learning. This evidence of acceptance has implications for educators and curriculum designers to discover ways of exploiting the mobile phone for independent and interactive ESL learning outside the classroom.
