摘要:AbstractThe objective of this study is to ascertain whether there is a direct association between physical fitness and the factors that determine the physical self-concept. The sample consisted of 53 schoolchildren of 14-15 years old. To evaluate the physical fitness, three tests were used. To evaluate the physical self-concept, the Physical Self Concept Questionnaire was used. An association was found between endurance and strength as components of physical fitness and the factors that determine the physical self-concept in the sample. Therefore, the adolescents achieving better scores on these tests will have a better physical self-concept. The same applies to the factors that determine the physical self-concept when they are related to each other, but not when they are related to flexibility.
