摘要：AbstractFrom among the wide range of possible options that we could choose for this project, we have decided to focus on two issues that we consider to be fundamental: raising the visibility of women's economic contribution and the casuistry of the institution of marriage, to be explored through a variety of different sources. In and of themselves, these two aspects are sufficient to shed light on many questions about the life cycle of women who lived during the Old Regime.
