摘要:AbstractThe present article brings forth the partial results of a research, carried out between 2011 and 2012, pertaining to the system of current initial training for the teaching career in Romanian universities. The questionnaires and focus groups designed and used as part of the research focused mainly on the identification of data on the training system. The questionnaires included items for which the respondents were asked to choose the reasons for (not) choosing the teaching career. 1200 were students, 1200 beginning teachers in secondary education, 200 university teachers of discipline didactics and/or who coordinate students’ teaching practicum.
