摘要：AbstractTaking into consideration that European Union's population is ageing faster than in most other world regions, combating age- related mental decline along with activating the potential of the elderly is a crucial component of enabling long-term growth and enhancing social cohesion. Hence, an integrated framework has been designed to address the above challenges by providing for interventions at a dual level: a) develop and implement educational interventions on seniors’ (65+) cognitive stimulation, and b) train seniors to act as educators in delivering cognitive-based interventions, multiplying the spill-over effect of the original intervention and generating wider benefits at economic and social levels.
