摘要:AbstractThe aim of the present study is to investigate the opinions of parents about the implementation of 4+4+4 education system policy start to be implemented in Turkey in 2012-2013 academic years. The parents (n=78) who have different professions (academician, primary school teacher, worker, civil servant) formed the study group of the present study. The qualitative data were collected in the spring semester of 2012-2013 academic year through a semi-structured interview form developed by the researchers. In order to analyze the qualitative data, content- analysis technique was used. By the end of the study, the participants stated positive and negative sides of the new program and generally added that during the implementation of the new program scientific data have not been taken into consideration.
