  • 摘要:AbstractVisualization, the ability of generating mental images from abstract concepts, is developed in students when technological resources are incorporated in teaching and learning processes, especially in mathematics. In this paper some tools for teaching numerical integration, developed by the authors, are shown. They are included in a set of customized applications designed for the issues studied in courses of Numerical Analysis at the Facultad Regional San Nicolás, Universidad Tecnológica Nacional, Argentina. With a simple interface, so as students can focalize on the concepts taught, these tools combine different semiotic registers in their design.
